Also saw in the Reserves at Mallala that Brian Montgomery played 2's and kicked 12 goals. Coming back from injury or no room now that the Pies have Scooter Hahn?

There's a huge gap between top four and the others at the moment. Without huge injury counts and massive form reversals I cant see the top 4 changing anything but order.
Would have thought that Hahn and Mont would compliment each other. Has Montgomery been playing or was this his first game for the season?

I hope that they are regretting the P Burgoyne experiment, they could have picked a couple of cheaper and more long term recruits that may still be at the club this year.

Yep, our crowds have been down this year but its probably because the results haven't been happening. Even when the side is in the game (hasn't been much this year) our crowd is so quiet that you can barely hear anyone applauad a good effort or a goal. This has been going on for a few years, and is a pet hate of mine. However, if the umpire makes a mistake you will most certainly hear our crowd letting him know. To me, the crowd would be much better support to the side by cheering them on.
It has nothing to do with Burgo in my opinion, more with our lack of recruiting this year. I mean the past 3 weeks we have played with either 0 or -1 points (we are allowed up to 12) and as Lightning has said our township and drawing area is very small meaning we don't have enough youth to step up into the A Grade to continually play with 0 points. We need to spend those points to remain competitive as every other team has improved from last year (full credit to them), and the league as a whole has improved this year as a result.

I'm not so sure MC, all these huge winning margins must be of concern. Not just in the A Grade but even more so in the B Grade and even in the colts I just can't see how clubs such as United and HWE can turn around their massive lack of depth, particularly in the junior grades.
