Match reports by a nominated person wouldn't be much different to the 'club notes' theme used by most other sports and and are basically one eyed weather reports. Problem with quality comes from papers other than Bunyip not being prepared or able to spend money or invest in multiple writers. Ghost writing OK if you have a good contact - Ken Dadds and Paul McCarthy for example were good for me or sometimes I rang an old mate. Coaches OK only occasionally, but mostly only tell you what they want to tell you.
BBBFM 89.1 has been broadcasting some games this year but have had technical problems a few times. Appear to have solved them and will do Tanunda v Barossa this Saturday and then all the finals. Scores from other games isn't as easy as it sounds, because some too busy or forget or if they have a reunion or function they become unfunctional.

The paper educate them before the season on how to write a good article
Only have to do an article for your clubs home games (so only 8 for the season)
Didn't they broadcast the finals games on local radio up there last year?
Why don't they get a major sponsor and do match of the round?
Get scores from the other games during the day.
