Surely any good script director could not omit such an obvious detail.
It's like seeing Bruce Willis throw a grenade but you don't see the explosion and/or resulting carnage.

he has just been a POW for 8 years and has been pissed on. I don't think a bit of his fluids is going to phase him to much.
