Barossa Districts were a better side than Birdwood (3 flags in 4 years ive been told) and yet they copped regular 20-30 thunpings in their first couple of seasons. Would take Birdwood 2-3 years to get competive IMO.
I personally dont have an issue with them joining if they meet all the criteria

Its the only chance they have of winning a game next year.
I wouldn't be so sure about Birdwood not being competetive. And wouldn't you get enough breaks with Association and Country Carnivals. You lot sound a bit soft to put it bluntly. Who wouldn't want to play 18 full rounds of footy. Sounds like you might be slightly intimidated by Birdwood moving in, they might actually surprise you and be quite successful but I think that's what you might be scared of. Weak as pi$$.

Afterthe siren you are obviously a Birdwood supporter and understand your comments are biased and unfortunately make you seem like a complete idiot.
Birdwood would not get within 25 goals of Tanunda and 70 goals if you played netball against the Willaston team(in fact the Willaston netball team would probably beat the Birdwood A grade footy team).Fringe BLG players go to your comp and play key positions. What would you bring to our comp other than a huge percentage win each week and travel we don't really want.
And your intimidated comment is one of the funniest posts I have seen on the forum.
Grow up stay a hillbilly and play the bango on Saturday nights.

Brook, don't be afraid to look no further than your own backyard in search for a win next year.
I was held up at the Willaston roadworks again today, while stopped at the roundabout I overheard the workers talking about some outstanding coaching and player payments not yet received from the 2012 season.

Don't deserve to be paid after what they dished up this season, if anything they should donate it back to the club! Hopefully Occa can bring in discipline that was lacked over the years and maybe bring in some much needed consistencey. When the donnies were on song they were up there with the best, but just lacked team togetherness, which you wont get when you pay so much money to players who dont give a stuff about the club. Heard a star player may stay now that a new coach has arrived, and the player is not a local.
