Section 1
Cove to many threats and will get the week off and Home Grand Final.
South Road have knocked off Keswick on Turf already and I think they will do it again. Toss could be important as the wicket will only get slower and lower late on Sunday.
Section 5
Could be two High Scoring games, but finals cricket can be funny cricket.
Hamilton - Hopefully our bats fire and the bowlers stay tight enough for long enough.
South Road - Would not surprise me if the teams that bats first posts a big score and the holds on with the ball. Think Souh Road just bat slightly deeper and this will get them home.

I am hoping Morphy Parks can create an upset in section 2 and knock off the Sheidow Park posers.
Good luck to our section 4 boys as well, even if our football club have shafted you.
Lastly good luck to Michael & Steven Thomas at Cove, I hope you get what you wished for by playing in a premiership together. Tell your dad I dont want to hear about it ball by ball though, or how well that other bloke who bowls medium pace crap is going.

Re: Adelaide and Suburban Cricket Association 2012/2013
Cove smashing Coro leaves Coro facing a side that they have yet to beat this year in the Prelim.
Coro not beating any of the other top 4 sides is surely not a good sign of things to come.
I can't see Keswick winning from this position at the moment batting 74 overs for 168.
Coro v South Road for mine to see who makes the prelim and comes second to Cove.
Interesting race for second spot coming up

Re: Adelaide and Suburban Cricket Association 2012/2013
Cove rolled coro for 50, proceeded to make the runs in 4.2 overs.
Unfortunately a little pride goes a long way from a couple coro tools and makes for a s*€t boring arvo.
Luckily the coro coach sent a fax from home, and canned the game at the end of day one.
Cheers to the couple coro boys who stopped in for a beer after the game, good sports.
Good luck for the next few weeks to all players involved (apart from the couple nerds at coro)

Why would you call a final off and concede with 1 full day to play ????? Aren't these the same clubs that beat their chest during the minor round saying games should be played out to the end even if a result ( ist innings) is achieved early and nothing else can be gained ......
Let's hope for Coro's sake they can bounce back because right now that monkey on their back is getting bigger and bigger and they have had some very good sides in the past to win more flags .

Hey Adelaide Bank
I hope you will be attending the section 4 GF to keep a lid on any potential trouble between the two rivals. Your calming influence and past experiences would be most welcome I would have thought.

Steve Burns, his name didn't spring to mind at first when I read tatts.

Re: Adelaide and Suburban Cricket Association 2012/2013
I think Cove will win.
However i feel Coro's best chance to win is by winning the toss and bowling.
I understand Batting first in finals is generally imperative to a flag. However there a number of things that lead me to having Coro bowling first.
One - Coro's batting is extremely fragile, especially against a Cove bowling line up. Still can't believe they got rolled for 50 with no McCard/Kinnear wickets.
Two - Coro's clear strength is their bowling. Let the bowlers have nothing to defend, and allow them to go out and bowl with the chance to get 10 wickets in an attacking frame of mind.
Three - Cove have batted second every game this year. Why not see how they go setting a target? This is risky call if Coro were to win the toss, but i reckon it is a risk they NEED to take and if they have chance to, could see them win the flag.
The toss in this grand final, is as important as any other for a number of years IMO
