Went for a recovery ride of 50kms yesterday, good to get the legs moving again, last few times Ive done these rides I havent got back on the bike for a fortnight or so, want to keep going this time.
I used to have the same computer, and it worked fine.
Just make sure the sensor (on the front fork) is angled inward towards the spokes ... just keep angling inwards (or outwards) whilst spinning the front wheel until you see that it starts registering, then tighten the screw to keep that angle.

I've tried everything known to man - but it still wont work.
Any ideas what I can do? I've set it up as per the instructions and replaced batteries but to no avail.
Had the same problem so got a garmin Edge 200 for $120, love it, no wires or sensors and uploads straight to Strava
My boss had his Trek Monroe 1.2 ( White / Red ) stolen from his house in Dulwich over the weekend. If you see something similar in your travels a PM would be appreciated.
I'd imagine it will be flogged cheap to the first buyer....

How accurate is it Dutchy? A bloke at work reckons they don't pick things up that accurately.

Tried all of that, still nothing. Every now and again I get a glimmer of hope (ie, it registers) but overall, nothing. For instance in 34km of riding today, I registered 1.2km. If it didn't give me that glimmer, I'd give up on it but in effect its teasing me!!!

Accurate as any GPS device, gives me speed, time, average speed all updating every second. Then upload it to Strava to keep a record of all your rides, elevations and PB's over different segments etc.
If you have a smartphone, download Strava and use that on a ride to get an indication of how Strava works, you can use it for free without buying the premium membership. If you are just looking for mapping of your ride that will do the trick.
Good to hear, Ive just finished cricket and have a 1 month window until school and club footy starts so looking to smash the bike in the next few weeks, hopefully a week of work will assist. Trying to do 5000km for the year.
anyone doing the Bupa ride at the TDU? Ive signed up for the full stage. rode the start last weekend from Glen Osmond to Crafers then went on to lofty. its going to be a tough ask with a start like that in January with some pretty big gradients straight up. has anyone tackled the KOM section at Myponga before and have any thoughts (or horror stories) on that climb?

Ill be doing it, I know most of the roads until it gets past Willunga, will go for a drive down to Myponga to have a look at the KOM, hope its not too bad but it is 95kms into the ride when we hit it!
Have put 100kms into the legs in the last week and hope to do the same from now on until the TDU.
No.1 son wants to do the 25km for Amy's this year so not doing the 100km, might ride home though to make it a 60km+ day.
Faster, due to the reduction in drag Not very but you can calibrate them to make them more accurate Any bike store usually service bikes - probably all around the same
With repeat to lycra, if you go on any decent length ride on a road bike you need knicks, so that's for comfort.
You could wear a t-shirt or polo, but they don't generally have pockets and not good in dealing with sweat. So wearing a jersey is just practical as you get a million pockets and it helps keep you cool and dry.
Nothing to do with performance for the vast majority of riders, only elite ones would enjoy a benefit.
