Penfield have picked up Golden Groves 2 best players, and Old Iggies best player amongst a few others, should go well in A3 this year. Aswell as maintaining the group that made the A4 GF last season.

Not bad for being in B3 4-5 years ago

Who do you rate as Golden Groves two best players? Surely Anderson would be one?

Not Anderson, yes he is a good bat, but his attitude and training sucks, and is apparently a bit of a me me me player. We picked up the 2 indraratne lads, one bowls heat and opens the batting, the other is a middle order bat who can keep

Leaves a bit of a hole for GG to fill.

Interesting your comment about Anderson (don't know the bloke so can't say), but then in the same sentence you mention the Indrartne boys.
From what I've seen of Jordan, he needs an attitude adjustment. Young lad so still has plenty of time to grow up I guess, and certainly wouldn't be alone if we put together a list of people who had an inflated ego when they were younger.

Has some talent so hopefully a change of scenery does him some good.

Cooper is a big pick-up, will help take the pressure off of Hilly. Good luck in A3 lads!

Yep Cooper will definitely help Hilly out, Damo is an absolute gun, and he is getting better as we progress up the grades. Still only 24.

Played vs Anderson last year and he sooked up when he got hit around the park, looked like a solid bat then just slogged and got himself out, twice. The 2 boys were keen to get on the lip, but were really good lads off the field. A change of clubs will help them out as they now have to get themselves on the right page with the current playing squad who have played the last 4-5 years together, so im sure they'll buy into that.

Yep. I think he went to Old Iggies purely for the cash. As they were a pretty average side, nearly relegated. He wouldn't want to be stuck in A4 again I don't think, as for the change to us

Lets hope he doesn't read that or it may have been the shortest signing in history.

Huge pick up for you guys, know both the lads well and if I knew they were on the move would have given them a call myself. Jay is great too, you will get a lot of value with his knowledge of the game.
