The old chicken shop. Can't think of its name.
It's one of the first shops on the left as you come into Wakey from Adelaide pretty much on the bend.

I think they had a competition a few weeks ago and the winner didn't even eat half of it. Its a monster.

It's so that if a team gets an injury in the first quarter, they can get the sub and still have 21 v 21. Obvious difference is when the other team then uses their sub it's 21 v 21 with a fresh player.

I do hate it though, when someone uses their sub in the first quarter due to injury and they STILL say they are a man down. No, they are not.

I want to get a wagon - more practical for what I want to do. I'm looking at the range from a VT to a VZ (so VT, VX, VY, VZ), wondered if there's a sweet spot there - and how much difference there is? I had a VT Olympic edition a few years ago, was really nice (sedan)

What model introduced the "sports" wagon with the reduced cargo space in the back? Got the very slanted tailgate/back window area.I'd steer away from that if you want extra space.

I'm assuming 3 sets of golf clubs and 3 buggies is the yard stick? ;)

You're definitely not alone. I can't stand the majority of his work, especially his Cold Chisel stuff.

that was the ve, so not on the list as yet. still has more space than the sedan equivalent, but definitely less than the earlier models

i believe most of those wagons are pretty similar with just cosmetic changes to distinguish them. although the vz did introduce the new alloytech V6 (3.6 litre as opposed to the ecotech 3.8) ive not personally had much to do with any of those models, but i havent heard of any duds wiothin that group (and before anyone says it, no more a dud than any other commodore anyway ;)) sorry i couldnt help more

Diss, I did some research on these. The VX was a minor upgrade of the VT, so much of a muchness. The VY however was a complete new car. We went with the VZ Acclaim (sedan) which had 6 airbags and rear sensors. My uncle got the VY and besides some minor facelift areas, there is little difference.

I do remember doing some investigation into the engine outputs and noting the VZ was slightly superior but that's about all.

It really depends on how much you want to spend. The VT's are cheap but have had lots of work - because they're up to 15 years old now.

The VZ's - well there isn't many around at a good price with low kms, simply because the upgrade VE was so small in comparison. If I was looking for a car now, I'd go for a 2004 VY or 2005/6 VZ. That means you're still only dealing with a 10 year old car at worst.

Thanks Gadj. Much appreciated.
My folks have a VZ Wagon and I do like driving it

Found one from a guy in Adelaide - VZ Exec Wagon 2007 (they made the wagons for longer than they made the sedan in 06) with around 180k kms - around $8k.
