Im a bit disappointed thus far, it's a pretty crappy novel - I thought from all the acclaim it's received it would have some substance to it, but it's not really any different to how I'd picture a Mills & Booney book.

Haven't read it.

But, of course, I've heard a-lot about this fan-fiction turned publishing phenomenon.

Ummm, has anyone actually acclaimed it?

But people just don't wanna believe it.

I bought Not Dead and Not For Sale, a memoir by Scott Weiland on eBay last week, and it arrived in the post this morning. I finished it by lunchtime. A great read.

My British born boss' Father-in-law visited the country recently and made mention of this book. I received it in the post about a week ago and have nearly finished it.

An interesting look at stats, characters, venues, rivalries within the rivalry.

5 minutes ago I finished this:

I am well aware that this is targeted at young adults, but I'd heard nothing but good things about it, and the eBook was only 5 bucks so I gave it a go.

The hyperbole surrounding this book is very, very well deserved. It's brilliant.

So good in fact that I'm going to seek out the DVD of the movie of the book this weekend.

Will be downloading the sequel eBook shortly thereafter.

Found it, bought it, watched it. Not bad, but I imagine that some of the movie would be lost on people who are not familiar with the book. The book has a lot more depth, without which some of the events depicted in the movie might be hard to understand. The fight scenes have been quite heavily sanitised, obviously so that classification of the film does not preclude the target audience. Without knowledge of who's killing whom and why, it would be a lot harder to follow.

Now for the sequel...

Not the sharpest tools in the shed, were they? Flashing murder contracts around, cuddling up to each other at family shows, hotel check-ins and outs in 3-4 hours.
