Who the genius was that decided to change the Bay to Birwood route to go up the freeway where no one can line the road?

It will also give people reason not to enter their classic vehicle. I wont be going in it this year in mine and alot of people I know wont be. Would be nothing worse than a warm day and crawling up through those tunnels, over heating in slow moving traffic.

Once you get on the freeway, it's a cruise. Getting from the bay to the freeway wouldn't be fun. Done the toy run a couple of times and the bikes get hot.

Yes and no. By the time you have crawled along Cross Road in bumper to bumper the car would be hot. I know mine wouldn't like the freeway after that. Keep in mind (like mine) many of the cars on historic reg. dont have thermo fans or larger radiators fitted.

I was a bit baffled and amused at an article I read on page 7 of the Sunday Mail yesterday.

The article basically details how many public and private schools are enforcing stricter uniform standards, partly driven by parents' sense of nostalgia and to prepare them for the workplace.

I agree with schools having set uniforms, as my high school has a pretty strict policy. In fact, I got suspended for a week for getting my hair cut too short.

One point I found baffling is that some schools have 'underwear policies'. I want to know why the hell a kid's underwear is important if it is not seen? More importantly, who has the right to check this area of the uniform? This seems way over the top to me...

Institutions and clubs may have a TFN too, as does my Superannuation Fund.
Is there a way to prevent them voting too in that system?
