According to my sister as well they could sledge with the best male cricketers too.
Too true, I used to hear from a mate who played for Port Adelaide about how well Karen Rolton used to do facing the blokes in the nets and she also used to play men's grade cricket and Ellyse Perry and other women have been clocked at bowling speeds in the mid-120's kph. too.

I know the bloke that was Rolton's first ever men's grade wicket.....
Still cops grief over it

Correct. The Test, ODIs and 20/20 matches count towards the Ashes for women.
Obviously the longer the format the higher points it attracts in terms of the series.

Re: WOMENS ASHES
SACA Under 15 boys beat the Australian women's team in a 50 over game quite easily about 6 years ago.
Heard Jonathon Agnew interview Sarah Taylor the England keeper/batter, rated 1 in the world I think, during the winter. There was a rumour she was going to front for Sussex 2nds and he asked how she thought she'd go. Taylor said she would probably handle the keeping side of it once she'd had some practice but wouldn't make a run against the men.

Agreed. She's also a world-class stunner.
