Round 8 - North v Port @ Prospect Oval (Sat 24/5)

Postby Big Phil » Tue May 20, 2014 1:17 pm

The Roosters are coming off another poor performance and are now up against the competitions most dominant side at the moment...

NORTH v PORT

Prospect Oval

Saturday, May 24th

Reserves @ 11:25am

League @ 2:10pm

Broadcast - 1197am 5RPH from 1:30pm

It will be interestring to see what kind of crowd turns up to this one, especially from the home supporters, who would be fearing a massive loss?

I don't think it matters what side we line up with. North aren't playing with any passion. We are undisciplined and our teamwork and skills have turned to shit.

This season is shot and hopes of another GF appearance have turned into fears of a Spoon.

I'm predicting that Port will steamroller North by more than 100 points on Sat. Hope I'm wrong but even if North win it would simply be papering over the cracks.

I said that last night while watching training, others around agreed we'd get smashed but sounded surprised by my "over 100 point" prediction

Without Barrie performing a miracle, this will be one of the ugliest results we've seen since 2003

I'll be happy if we kick more than the now defunct Port clubs effort of 1.4 in the 1905 GF against us!
