Geez... that is a great effort by the Dogs. I bet Lairdy is proud, as the behinds were kept to a minimum. Usually every week the behind score for the Dogs are in the double figures.

Percentage wise... that is a great result.

Never thought I'd live to see Norwood 'win' the wooden spoon, but unfortunately it happened.
I also never thought Norwood would have a result like today's game.

I'm truly staggered.
Certainly worst ever loss to Centrals and probably the club's worst ever losing margin to anyone.

I can accept Centrals being the superior team on the day, but to lose by 26 goals is simply a disgrace and embarrassment to the club.

Central District 34.7.211 - Norwood 8.5.53 (WTF?!)
West Adelaide 15.13.103 - North Adelaide 19.13.127
(SANFL website has West as the winners  :? )

Little consolation, but Norwood aren't the only team to be kicked off the park by Central in recent times, especially finals.

I'm estatic to hear about Gouglas kicking 7, I have been waiting for him to rip an SANFL game apart

Dutchy

Did he play mostly as a small forward or did he spend some time in the midfield?

Gold, Dutchy Gold....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Well White hasn't been looked after by North and Wintle has struggled with injury for a while, hopefully Leroy isn't out for too long.. pretty hard to manage in-game hammy/groin injuries.

Douglas was part of Glenelg's on ball rotatations today and rested in the forward line

Sounds like a spell-check challenge!

Is it possible to bring up the stats for the number of games each SANFL team has lost by 100pts or more, or at least just south and norwood

just following a hunch on this one..... ;-)

You must have forgotten Round 9, 2002 season. 195 points from memory.
I'm not sure anyone from South can have a dig at the Norwood effort from the weekend...

I remember it, bizarrely North were 6th, then lost to Sturt by 98 pts then lost to Norwood by 85 pts and actually climbed up a spot on the ladder into the 5!!
Now THAT would be a record.

There's a thread in the History Forum with that info in there. Excel is still a bitch for me at the moment, so best bet would be to look in there.
