You have a lot more issues then having butcher on your side. Your going to have a chunk of your guys either not doing a pre season or banned from playing.
Most guys could not do a pre season and still go better than that spud!!

Yep Collingwood will play hard ball on this though, Eddie would have no issue sending him to the Suns if he thinks he can get a better deal. Brisbane will need to offer up pick 4 plus a decent player or he wont end up there
Player still needs to sign off on trade. Brisbane won't and should not give up 4 and a player of Aish's quality
I think it can only work if it involves Dangerfield. Brisbane get beams and 1st round pick from pies, pies get Dangerfield and crows get Aish and pick 4. I also would be trying to get close to first picks in the second and third round to snare Caleb Daniel.
How about involve the dees in a 4 way trade Danger and lumumba to melb Beams and a second round pick from crows to bris Aish and pick 3 to crows Picks 2, 4 and mitch clark to pies

Considering Beams was possibly their best player last season, I would say him and a first rounder is a bit much.

Perhaps but you are saying that Dangerfield is worth Beams and a first round pick. I dont think that's really market value but then again market value is whatever another team is prepared to pay. Time will tell I guess.

Yes I get that.
I guess Collingwood do have a good set of young players at the moment and maybe they wouldnt be worried about there first pick this draft if the landed Daingerfield. But losing Beams is huge considering that Swan is getting towards the end of his time.
