27000 + people , some with short attention spans, rolled up at the Adelaide Oval game last night
Probably needed a cricket fix, as they were starved of cricket for almost 2 hours since stumps in the Brisbane Test match

When they showed the commentators and the table in front of them that they used to show fielding position by playing with a tablet. The Mrs said they shouldve got out the Test Match board game as it wouldve looked much better and made more sense!

Well...

For the first time last night, I actually enjoyed a T20 game.
I watched it at my cricket club and the combination of a few beers, some banter and a club interest in the game made it really enjoyable.
Maybe, I'm thawing towards this thing.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

If you weren't entertained by last night then you aren't a cricket fan. Sure, the nuances of test cricket still trump it, but it was still fun to watch.

Big call there Benny.
I will sit and watch every ball of a days play of a test match or shield game but not interested in 1 over of a T20.
Doesnt make less of a cricket lover.
Watched about an hour of the Windies test which was probably longer than what SA batted for anyway lol

In all seriousness this pisses me off
Brad Hodge playing for the Adelaide team
Callum Ferguson playing for Melbourne Renegades team tonight

Does not feel right
Cousin Brad is a ripper cricketer but its more logical for both he and The Ferg to play in their home states

This merry go round of players devalues the comp
Entertainment = 8 out of 10
Players shunted from team to team =2 out off 10
