Re: 2014-2015 20/20 Whinge Thread
I dont like this form of cricket and only watch it ocassionally on tv as its slightly better than watching home & away. Test cricket is and will always be the true and greatest form of this sport.
But i am happy with where it sits currently in world cricket. Its not having to much of an effect on test match scheduling and as a rule of thumb the gun cricketers are choosing to rest in t20 cricket rather than miss test matches. I dont have a huge issue if t20 takes over on the cricket calender from odi
So if that continues to be the trend im happy for this hit and giggle to make cricket profitable as well as attract a younger generation who hopefully will then go onto the enjoy test cricket (this is biggest and most debatable issue but we will not see an answer for another 5 years or so imho)

These guys have no idea who they are.
South Australia are the Redbacks in the Shield and the One-dayers, then they think they can change their uniform, call themselves the "Strikers" and the mindless sheep who follow them believe it?
Pffft.

I have a bigger issue with Cricket Australia deciding to create Franchises for the domestic competition.
Also parklands cricketers thinking they can play this form of cricket whilst ignoring the basics of the game.
In short this form of the game should be limited to major domestic competitions with a couple of internationals for the professionals to display the superior skills they have that allowed them to become a professional.

Isn't there an Aussie Rules football club that also try and pull this disguise as well

No need to move on. The more teeball is played the faster everyone sees it for what it is and the sooner the novelty will wear off. Happy for it to exist to pay the bills as long as it can. My only whinge is that as a sports fan January now sucks balls. FFS put a few Shield games on.
