In seasons gone by we had no byes except perhaps to play state game.
With interchange players nowadays, surely we want footy every week.
What has the SANFL comp got to do with the AFL?
Sanderson and the crows forced the SANFL to accept the 2 extra teams ,
but cause a crazy 1A round in the reserves before the season starts.
So then why do the Power have SANFL have a reserves side?
Shades of Monty Python to me.

Wasnt 1990 before 2014?
I don't remember 3 byes in a season in most seasons before 2014.
There were only byes introduced because of an odd amount of teams in a relatively small part of the leagues history. No need to have them if an even amount of teams are in the comp.
Its a joke.

Crowds, revenue and interest in the comp rises at least 20%.
You're welcome SANFL.
Even better, piss off the Crows and Power, 21 rounds, play each team 3 times.
