Good news for those fans of the Thursday Night SANFL Show with Grant Coffee and myself (with John Nankivell filling in from time to time, as well) getting the all-clear from RPH to continue on once again in 2015...

The first TNLT Show, as a part of a Pre-Season block, will hit the airwaves in less than one month, from 8:00 - 9:00pm, on Thursday March 5th...

Stay tune to this thread for more details on the format, content and guests, etc etc...

Because the other thread was about the SANFL broadcasting, in general, while this is the thread for the Thursday Night Show and I wanted to post about the impending return of said show in the thread specifically for the show.

I'd suggest that unfortunately the mid-week morning shows are long-gone, saintal...

Unless anyone wants to throw some sponsorship dollars to the station, then we might be able to get something up and running, again?

I thought RPH have the Advertiser reading from 7am so not sure they would change from that. ..as unfortunate as it is.

THURSDAY NIGHT SANFL SHOW IS BACK

Hey Folks,

The first official SANFL Show kicks off this evening, with Grant Coffee in the host chair and myself as co-panellist.

Over the next 3 or 4 weeks, in the lead up to Round 1 kicking off, we will look to chat to each of the 10 coaches, in reverse ladder order, as well speak with various guests from within the SANFL.

Not really. It was decided several week's ago during a meeting with all the presidents of the SANFL clubs. It was 6-2 in favour although a couple voted for a Dogs v Panthrs GF but they were just being silly.

What are the ratings like for this show and the station ? Would like to know the same for Life FM if it's available.

Thats right. If these community stations with volunteers do not rate highly enough, they should be burned at the stake.

I would bet with a great degree of confidence, that the skin on the custard is safe.

I'm genuinely interested as to why you want to know this, Bounce of the ball?

Being community stations and heavily relying on limited government funding, I am lead to believe that the stations can't really afford the $8,000 (so I'm told?) it costs to have a survey and get these kind of results.

I know RPH did conduct a basicsurvey of listenership and statistics of their demographics, I think only a few weeks back?

I can probably find the results of that and let you know, if you want to know more?

I was interested how they rate that is all. I thought they may be part of the radio ratings completed by listeners as a whole . I think it would be good to know the level of interest on radio as we do the TV.
