Re: EPL Season 2015/2016
half the season gone and Arsenal sit at top.
If we can only match or improve on that for the remainder then it will look good .

Haven't seen as much this season as others, but from what I have, you'd be my clear favourites from here. Long way to go of course, but I'd be happy to see Arsenal (or Leicester or Tottenham) win it, basically anyone other than the 3 usual suspects would be nice.
Albeit, it would lessen my bagging ammo lol

A stunner wasn't it! Still not 100% sure it was a shot or a cross but that's all trivial now...
The match itself was a ripper, so much happening and exciting from whistle to whistle. Glad to come out with the three points but a draw would have been a fitting result to be honest. The penalty was a touch dubious and I'd be dirty if the table was turned.
exciting times at the Potteries because our front 3 of Arnautovic, Bojan and Shaqiri are really starting to click, some of their lead up play has been sublime and their understanding is really coming on. The only thing missing was regular goals but they seem to be fixing that. Couple that with our resolute defense and Europe is not out of the question! Considering the log jam from 5th-11th every result is crucial, especially against those mid table sides... easily the most exciting season i can remember... i can imagine another finish like a couple years ago with Aguero scoring in injury time to win the league for City... except it will be Vardy or Mahrez for Leicester or özil for Arsenal...
Was definitely a shot mate and fully intentional, he had no one around him and saw Howard off his line and timed it to perfection.. We would be talking about Lukaku's goal if Shaqiri hadn't of done that, great ball in and great control on his chest and then calmly slots it home.
Agree mate, was an entertaining game and this is the best season since i can remember too, there are no sure winners in pretty much every game (unless you are playing Sunderland or Villa
We have a tough run of fixtures now with Tottenham (EPL), Man City (League Cup), Dagenham & Redbridge (FA Cup), Man City (League Cup), Chelsea (EPL), Swansea (EPL), Man City (EPL). Man City 3 times in the month of January.

Hammers take the lead about 10 minutes in.
Would have preferred it didn't reault in a goal but Moreno having an act on the ground might have bee responsible for it - hope other players see it and stop doing it.

Re: EPL Season 2015/2016
Don't remember the last time when we won after being that dominated. should of been 3 or 4 nile down before we went 1 nil up. Massive win. Ramsey at DM just doesn't work, goes too far up the ground and leaves massive amount of gaps for sides to carve us up. His stupidity left far too many gaps on the counter. How wenger lets him attack so much is beyond me. There was one play early in the second half where he had the ball near the ******* attacking conerflag! your a bloody DM you twat not CAM. Counting down until Coq returns

Re: EPL Season 2015/2016
because ramsey is playing out of positon . Why wenger continues to play him out of his normal is beyond me.
He is better suited central midfield and backing up the strikers.
We got away with that win, Newcastle should have won easily but failed in the part.
Chamblers should have started DM like he did against bournemouth as it suited him well. Sanchez is back this week so should help out a little up front .Why wenger plays walcott on the left and the OX on the right is another weird tactic .

Better not see Sanchez play a full game in the FA cup when we have Liverpool coming up.

Bah, another draw. Dominant in the first but falling away in the second as usual, hopefully we can get some depth this transfer window.
All in all a pretty good holiday period with 10 points out of 12.

I hope we give you guys a run but I think arsenal are the favs, what they've done with much more injuries than us makes me think you guys will pull ahead further with Man City maybe pushing you guys and Spurs maybe getting up for third.I'm still worried about the young ages of the Spurs squad which should mean some inconsistency. I'm a bit of a different Spurs fan too as I'd rather you guys win it than either of the Manchester, I might be a bit biased as my daughter is a Gunners fan

Re: EPL Season 2015/2016
Arsenal can win it because basically the league has turned to crap.
A total wipe out in the champs league showed how far the standard has fallen in the epl
Utd are a basket case
Chelsea are a basket case
Liverpool have been a basket case for most of the last 20 years
Spurs are just CL wannabies who don't have the financial clout or the depth to mount a challenge for the title.
Which leaves City and Arsenal
City are huge underachievers considering the money they've spent.
The ELP is in serious danger of losing their 4th team in the CL because of the poor European performances.
Reallty, the quality of the elp has fallen way behind the Spanish, German or even Italian leagues in recent years, mainly due to the amount of money that even mediocre elp clubs have to spend. No one is accountable anymore so managers pay huge agents fees for sub-standard players
Look at the £m's Man U and Liverpool have both spent on players that have turned out utter flogs. Di Maria ring any bells.
Both City and Chelsea have money to burn so buying overrated duds isn't an issue for them financially, but it will cost them in Europe which is the only goal for any of the epl Clubs
Wenger might have a wry smile come May, and vindicate his policy of not blowing big dosh in the transfer market, that is if he can keep his team of sick notes on the pitch.
