Of course you are not attending, South went out in straight sets

In previous years that hasn't meant I haven't been interested in the other finals - this year, however, holds no interest whatsoever. But I guess you'd know all about that.

You dont have to explain yourself to a troll Scoop, I know the hours you put in and how much you do for the SANFL.
Similarly I remember a day about 10 years ago when North had the bye and I travelled between 4 games from Noarlunga to Unley to Richmond to Woodville just to take photos of the games and enjoy them and share then with others. I wouldn't bother crossing the road for one game these days.
That's what the lying deceitful cancer has done to our comp.

Fairs fair, we can't all be loyal Crows supporters who change teams when it suits them.

What if the 8 Clubs decided to leave the SANFL & restart the SAFA?

You do know that plenty of diehards go to neutral finals every year?
Think I've only missed about 4 SANFL GF's since the early 80's but I won't be going this year and Norwood Ressies are playing this week in the Prelim and I won't be at that either

If the cows are playing you couldn't pay me enough money to sit through a tainted result. It is the Crows and their fans blind ignorance to the fact that they are killing the competition they so badly want to play in  Their results and that of the other AFL mob are too inconsistent as one week you could have half a side missing and the next they are all back in and the skipper misses out on a game.

South Adelaide proved that 21 part timers can't compete with 21 full time professionals. SOMETHING HAS TO CHANGE

Another Idea I had and would also require the 8 real S.A.N.F.L. (not Sanfull!) clubs to co-operate. What if we all agreed to play our "A" grade in the Reserves comp and our "B" grade in the League comp? That would make the Reserves premiership the real SANFL premiership. The Offal (AFL) intruders would get their games in a "reserves" competition where they belong and our League teams play in a pure SANFL comp against other semi professional teams and not pampered AFL footballers.

week 1 finals crowds
8031 - 2015
8351 - 2016

week 2 finals crowds
9247 - 2015
9029 - 2016

not exactly the end of the world number as some on here would have you believe. Also worth noting that Adelaide who has no supporters and South who have about 1200 more than Adelaide were involved in both weeks this year.

Try comparing crowd figures pre 2013.
First week of finals was also AFL free, should have been a bumper crowd, I predicted one and was quite surprised at the lack of Ravens fans. The day was definitely carried by Sturt and Central fans.

10-15K per weekend for 2011 & 2012 looking at the old buns for crowd threads when there was a lot less free tickets.

Thanks Rob Chapman!
You would have to be blind to not see how alarmingly crowds have dropped off since 2013.

Do you really think we should just dismiss all mitigating factors and accept this year's crowd figures as a success?
I don't have finals crowd figures from 2009 to 2012 at my finger tips right now, but check the thread titled"SANFL crowds booming" and get back to me, okay
