Depending of course on what Carlton need to make the trade happen. Can't see the Crows giving up as much as some are suggesting, given the bloke is 28. If anything, getting a couple of guys much younger might suit their list better anyway so a deal more like pick 13, Lyons/Kelly/Ellis-Yolman for Gibbs and Pick 24 could work for both clubs.
Carlton have repeatedly said they will hit the draft hard, they won't be sending any picks back. They will want pick 13 plus a decent young player
Might be their position, but I'm just not sure Gibbs is worth that. I'm sure the recruiters have a much better idea than me when it comes to what will make the Crows better though.
Having said that, I think upgrading a pick from the second round to the first, plus a younger player, would be a good return for Gibbs when Gibbs will be lucky to be clinging on to the end of his football career when Carlton next head towards the pointy end. Just don't think a 28 year old on good money really suits the Blues.

Valid points but he still has 3 years to run on his contract so Carlton hold the upper hand. They won't be letting him leave for nothing, pick 13 would be absolute bare minimum

I think he is McGrath is ahead by a nose if it was a race from the messages the club is sending out. This may be because we know GWS are desperate for McGrath and have met with us to discuss the number 1 pick. Suns will most likely end up with pick 2 and they are keen on either of the Mc's so would take whichever one remains. I don't see McGrath getting to pick 3

First rounder and player?
Hes contracted so it will be overs. So think player probably Lyons a first rounder and probably a second rounder as well.
Lyons, 1st rounder and a future second rounder?
Seen this rumour on Facebook but not sure how reliable Facebook is. It's annoying seeing Gibbs linked to us when he should have been a father/son pick 10 years ago if it wasn't for the stricter rules states outside of Victoria face
Yeah cos Ross Gibbs played how many games for the Crows?
Supercoach Spring Racing Champion 2019 Spargo's Good Friday Cup Champion 2020
How so? The Crows wanted to join the VFL, they even paid to do so knowing that those clubs had certain advantages, yet they still joined. They shouldnt of had any father son rights.

Hawthorn shouldn't get a free ride from the umpires but they do....

How are the Suns getting pick 2 from Brisbane?

There is no chance Adelaide give up more than pick 13 and Lyons. I expect Gibbs and a pick back from Carlton too in the 2nd round. Rucci is full of shit if he thinks they need to send a Crouch or McGovern also. Gibbs is 28 next season, you do not give up 13, Lyons and Crouch for that.
I doubt that Carlton will send Adelaide a 2nd round pick in return. Not in this years draft anyway, especially given that deals need to be struck with GWS for Marchbank and Pickett.
A 2017 pick, maybe?

For what it's worth I saw Brad Crouch at Adelaide Airport flying to Melbourne last night...... Having quite an intense conversation on his mobile. Crows would be stupid to trade him and a pick for Gibbs

Especially when he has just resigned.
Ruccis article is a daysofourlives level trolling effort. No way do we send crouch or McGovern. I wouldn't sell just crouch for Gibbs let alone a first rounder too.
