Work Christmas Dinner in Adelaide- Suggestions?
Gday folks,
Once again MatteeG is organising our work Christmas dinner. Management only just gave our budget last week and now I'm trying to find a place.
We have about 20 attendees (15 staff, and usually about 5 partners attend). Most are not big drinkers so a drinks tab is usually more than adequate (I have been known to smash a fair bit late to get somewhere near the budget). Most dont care for dancing etc either, so entertainment isnt necessary. Yes we are a boring mob.
I've pencilled in the Alma as they can fit us in (9th December is optimal) but got a less than ecstatic response when I announced it was a possibility.
Any suggestions from the FootySA community? CBD would be preferred but willing to try anywhere reasonably central.
Previous years we have done Jolleys, Enzo's, Strathmore, River Cafe and Hotel Tivoli amongst others.
Cheers,
MatteeG

Curious Squire in North Adelaide?
Adelaide Bowling club if you want a modest activity and to stretch your budget further with food and drink?
The Kent Town (or whatever it's called these days) used to be excellent food and atmosphere.

Re: Work Christmas Dinner in Adelaide- Suggestions?
We have had a couple of work dinners at the Unley Hotel (formerly Boho).
Would recommend- Food is good, both quantity and quality, and from what I have heard, price is reasonable. I haven't personally booked ours, but I believe you can reserve the private area's upstairs. Not sure about package options as far as whether they offer food & drinks package or food only leaving individuals to buy drinks.
Worth checking out.
