He's an Akita and will be 8 on Friday. Got him before the kids and he is a deadset champ! Very gentle with the kids and has such a placid nature. Only ever barks when someone is coming uo the driveway or is hanging around the side fence. Excellent dog!
He still has all his bits in place too and I've been looking for a female to hook him up with so if you know of any then shoot me a PM.

I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do
My last dog - Irish Wolfhound 90cm tall at the shoulder and weighing 90Kg. Ignore the little black thing next to him which is the step-daughter's miniature Dachshund...

Catts too friendly. Greets everyone at the door. Meows constantly. I cant sit down without him being on me. He will not play.
Chaz hates everyone. He will hide for whole days if we have visitors. We got him as a kitten, and 4 years later he's just got a bit more open to pats. He does like play fighting with me though.

"What shall we call it?"
He was 2 when we got him. The name the previous owners gave him was shit, so I went with something he'd understand. I assumed they'd call him "the cat" in front of him before. Worked well.
I tried to get "Trevor" over the line for the other one, but we compromised on Chaz.

Here's the spoiled sister, now aged 14 (like you don't all see her enough on FB )

Chaz is friendly. Never hissed or anything. But he's very shy. For the last year or so he's been sitting up on the couch with us. Before that, he'd just sit on the other side of the room and stare at you.
If I get on the floor with him, he'll play fight with his claws away. He loves it.
