Would it be pessimistic of me to predict bugger all?

This pitch is hardly a raging turner. We should be able to bat for two days and post a decent first innings lead. Smith will ton up.

A very subdued Warner on display. Concentrating very hard in very a trying conditions. Chairs and Shade for drinks. Good idea.

Brendan Julian: " I would like to see more Sheffield Shield cricket. Four day cricket is how you prepare players for test cricket." On the money.

2/187 Warner 69 not out Handscomb 51 not out Nice to come home from footy and see these two plodding along nicely. Handscomb needed to contribute after a bit of a lull.

DK. He is batting beautifully. Warner concentrating as well as ever. Have we finally learnt something about the pitches?

No
It's just a flatter and more batsman friendly pitch

Correct weight, this pitch is a flat as a Kelly Underwood commentary stint.
