If you're introducing Thins, the Red Rocks come into play and the whole argument deepens.

Re: Things that give you the sh1ts
Alright. My choices were plain, chicken and salt & vinegar.
I wanted some acidity, as the plain and chicken make me feel a bit sick after about half a pack.
The only normal chips I can eat a whole bag of in one sitting is Barbeque.
Once we go in to exotics, I can smash a Costco bag of Red Rock Sweet Chilli chips in two sittings, with a loaf of bread and some butter.
CC's > Doritos, every day of the week.

Whilst Light & Tangy are my current favourite, I still have sporadic dreams about Arnott's BBQ Ruffles. Released in the '80s, nothing came close to what I can only describe a "the perfect chip".

Cheese and Bacon Balls and French Fries for me. Followed by a box of cyclones.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

The Wife's work gets to go to Morphetville Park on Melbourne Cup Day as a normal day, fully catered and all you can drink, at this stage I'll be stuck in this shit hole with perhaps some cakes and donuts for 10 minutes while the race is on.

Our Melbourne office have Cup day off ( obviously, public holiday ) but they split it that half the office have Monday off and make it a 4 day weekend and those who are going to a Cup function work the Monday and then have the Wednesday off.
Most of them take it in turns, 4 day weekend one year, Wednesday off the next. Bastards.

Seems fair, at a guess I'd rather go to work on the Monday and have the Wednesday off to recover, the Monday in Melbourne that week would be like Sleepy Hollow.

Re: Things that give you the sh1ts
Be my first Melbourne Cup off for decades Im not working. Its never worried me though as Ive always much preferred Derby Day or the Cox Plate.
Actually I was in Thailand for one but it was run before I got out of bed.
Ill have to work out what to do this year, might go to the pub for something different.

It's annoying as I'm usually the one who rounds up everyone at work's bets and goes to place them, I get to wherever I go and see the luncheons put on and have a little thought to myself about taking the next one off and doing the same, I did apply for Melbourne Cup Day off this morning, I probably just end up at the Reepham though drinking $5 pints all day.
