Re: Finals Week 3
KB's a ripper, try and tune into SEN in the mornings just for his segment. I like his dry humor, the way he baits Carlton fans, his love for the Tigers - and he often has Greg Denham with him, and that doesn't leave enough hate leftover for anyone else.

Bloody hell that's a massive risk. Three times his hammy has gone this year. He can't make it through a game. Parsons is a weak link but at least he stays on the field.

Was it a trip or did he think he could get on the end of a handball?

Very quiet on here this morning
Calm before the storm?
Hoping for the best but fear the worst. Adelaide don’t play prelims well

Feel a bit the same. I think we are better prepared than some of those other Prelim losses but only playing once in three weeks could throw us off.

Re: Finals Week 3
Crows for me. Their pressure all over the ground will prove too much for Cats. Matt Crouch 30+ disposals and best on. Josh Jenkins 4 goals and the only Joe the goose will be the bloke playing on him. Richmond won't allow Giants to play their game and will win easy.

Re: Finals Week 3
Last time these two played Douglas kicked 4 and Sloane kicked 3. Geelong’s tall backs had the better of Adelaide’s talls, Lynch, Walker and Jenkins one each. Adelaide can’t be relying on the mids to kick 8 of 13 tonight. ( Greenwood kicked one ).
Geelong bring in Lonergan and Cockatoo for Parsons and Z.Guthrie, that makes them stronger.
Adelaide bring in Sloane and Otten for Smith and McGovern, that makes them a little weaker IMO. Just a little.
Interesting with the lead up. Adelaide played August 27 in Perth, week off, September 7 in Adelaide, week off, so by game time it’s their second game in 26 days. I don’t think that’s ideal. We all know what it’s like when you’re exercising, the first day or two hurts, the next few are fine but if you stop, if you don’t do anything for a day or two the next one is almost harder to get going than the first time you moved it off the couch. I reckon Adelaide might be a little slow out the blocks.
On the other side Geelong hardly worked up a sweat in both finals. The first one because they couldn’t be arsed and the second one because they didn’t have too. So they’ve not really had a tough fortnight, in fact no side playing this weekend has had a tough final. It’s been big wins for Richmond and Adelaide and then big losses and big wins for Geelong and GWS, so the Giants and Cats don’t come into this one beat up while the Crows and Tigers have been doing anything but playing footy.
I still think Adelaide but I’m not as assured as I was a few days ago, McGovern hurts I think. Adelaide can’t afford for Cameron and Otten to be passengers tonight, they’ll need them both to impact on the scoreboard. Adelaide by 15 points.
Tomorrow is a dead set raffle. Richmond v Geelong two weeks ago was 3 goals to 2 at half time and was a borefest, the Tigers only scratched 13 majors together by slamming on 7 in the last half hour, will 13 goals beat the Giants? No. I don’t think so. Will the Tigers pressure be enough to keep the Giants under 13, on the expanses of the MCG where the AFL Oranges can run free? Hard job that one.
I still think the Tigers, but again, not as assured as I was a few days ago. Richmond by 8 points in a tight snorefest
