Agreed, lucky to get there as a patron once a fortnight recently, my body is freaking out and has dropped 8 kilos despite a diet of mainly pub food and burgers. Got a quieter week next week thank christ!

Cracking water is currently done via electrolysis which is very energy intensive. Would be better to use a battery.
The fact that batteries compete with the very best cars after maybe 15 years on the market is very good still

This looks encouraging: http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-03-08/w ... sa/9526706
The Crystal Brook facility will produce up to 400 megawatts of solar and wind power each day, which will power the site's hydrogen 'electrolyser' to potentially produce 20,000 kilograms of hydrogen daily.

And there has been a recent SA Uni based discovery about using an inexpensive enzyme process to convert Hydrogen to Ammonia and then break it down to Hydrogen again at the other end, which makes it more compact and transportable - I think it was Adelaide Uni.

If they can do it inexpensively without electricity it could be a game changer.

But using it to crack water is less efficient than just putting it directly into a battery.

Maybe less efficient, but cleaner, because old batteries have to be disposed of and no one recycles them, despite the propaganda, because it is 3x cheaper to make new ones from new raw materials.

(And there is the saving for the public of not needing to buy a rather more expensive type of new car that depreciates fast because of the concern about the cost of replacing the batteries eventually.)

When you get one of those telemarketers call you, and they launch into their spiel... I let this bloke talk for a good 5 minutes until he finally stopped and asked if I was interested. I simply replied...pardon, can you run that by me again.

Our GM brought in a cake for national womans day (albeit a day late).

He announced across the office what the cake was for and for all the women to help themselves to a piece, curiosity got the better of me so I called out "Is it a flange?"

Some found it funny.

It's time that there was true equality and International Women's Day really signifies the best day to do it.

I plan on getting home tonight to flowers she brought because she figured she had to but didn't know why, there'll be a bottle of my favorite wine in the fridge and I'm going to tee off at all and sundry for no apparent reason other than it"s "that time".

Can't wait! Happy IWD!

So only women got cake?

Go to the GM and say you are offended and need to take the rest of the day off to get over the blatant bias in the office

Then file a hurt feelings report
