Clarets are coming......... :D

As long as we win Europa and beat you in the 90th minute you can finish above us.

Well that says how far we have come or how far you have fallen.
Another away game next up too. BTW Arsenal are the only team in the premiership not to pick up a single point away from home since Christmas
Home form, 3rd in the league, Away form, Bottom of the league

Don’t know why your surprised. We’ve had no chance of the top 4 since January and once we made it through the first knockout round Europa has been priority. Treating the PL like Man Utd last season. We’ve been fielding weakened teams for at least 8 games now.

Congrats to City
By far the best team in the league this year

United will be disappointed they coughed up 3 points at home to the Baggies effectively handing the title to City
I know it was a foregone conclusion but I’m sure United would have liked to made City wait s bit longer

Wedgie I don’t understand what you mean by St Blubfam

Its the day Tottenham fans now celebrate when Arsenal cant mathematically overtake Spurs, its the equivalent of the previous St Totteringhams day that Arsenal held.
If you watched Arsenal TV youd know that blud and fam are 90% of Arsenal fans vocabulary hence where the name came from. ;)

PS Agree fully about City, only team that has outplayed us twice and are great to watch unlike their overpaid neighbours and others.

Disappointing last night.
Clarets not at their best, Chelsea played to win and was up for it.
Ref didn’t help us out

Still is says something as to how far we’ve come when we are disappointed to lose 2-1 to Chelsea after gifting them a flukey own goal.

7th looks about it now. Foxes drew so we stay 8 points clear of them with 4 games to go.
We have Stoke and Arsenal away, Brighton and Bournemouth at home.
Arsenal have Leicester away, still to play us and United. So you never know. But they have 2 points and a game in hand.

You mentioned it though and usually after a loss can be seen as sour grapes.

I also said we weren’t at our best and Chelsea had come to play
I hardly think that constitutes sour grapes.

Having said that, we are the only Club not to have had a penalty this season and the handball in the PB last night was clear and in front of the ref. Had it happened at the other end I’m not sure the ref would have saved it away. Not sour grapes though, just resignation that the big powerhouse clubs always seem to get the big calls. Being an Arsenal fan, you’d know as well as anyone.

But being 7th, and a comfortable 7th at that, in the EPL is beyond any Clarets fan’s dream, sour grapes don’t really come into it.

Yay Bully mate
Where you bin. Missed you ;)

Yep, seriously the Clarets have lunched way above their weight this year. He won’t but Dyche deserves to win manager of the year. It’ll likely go to Pep or, now he has announced he’s leaving, Wenger. ;)

You’ll be a happy bunny now I guess mate

The big guns who played all won this weekend including City, Liverpool and Arsenal. Any faint hope of 6th in done adusted now.
Clarets get a point at Stoke but Leicester dropped another 2 and remain 9 points adrift.

With Soton going out of the FA Cup the Clarets will play European Football next season if Leicester can’t overhaul them. I’d like to think we will pick up one or two points in our last two home games against Brighton and Bournemouth

Ive been here mate just watching on occasion. Been on other forums with more banter and been busy with life really .

Sad and happy that Wenger is moving on. Not sure what to expect so hope we dont fall into the category of changing the manager twice a season like others .
But going on recent form we cant really get any worse. Someone new in to try new things. But can see the new manager will run into the same things wenger has had for a while with no money to buy decent players and telling the masses that there is no money for transfers from the owner

@Dogwatcher

Hey DW, shocking what has happened to the Cats. Bit like Man City, Leicester, Forest, Saints and Leeds so you are in good company.
Players are in for a bit of a culture shock though with some of the away grounds. Accy Stanley’s dressing rooms are two portacabins at the side of the ground

43,000 stadium, how many will turn up in a wet Tuesday night in Jan to watch Wimbledon ??
