Last 4 years averages :
2015/2016/2017/2018
Disposals :
15.4/14.3/14.4/12.6
Marks :
4.2/3.1/3.7/2.7
H/outs :
37/31/39/37
Numbers don't look to have had a major dip, he is goalless this year but isn't a big goal kicker anyway ( 9 last year, 8 the year before with 4,7,4,7 before that ).
I agree he's not having the impact he perhaps normally has, then again he's not had Sloane, Crouch and Crouch at his feet much this year given their run with injury but it seems he's a little restricted in his movement.
His durability is almost a liability, they've not really found out of O'Brien is a capable AFL ruckman and might see a dip in output when Sauce isn't on the park or retired. He turned 30 in April and has carried Adelaide's ruck division for sometime now.
Take out the last two rounds and he's averaging 14.4 disp, 3.4 marks and 35.7 hit outs for the year.
HOGG SHIELD DIVISION V WINNER 2018.

Yeah he's carried a big load* for a long time now (that can be enough to get anyone out of sorts).
The AFC would know the end is getting closer and would no doubt have some form of succession plan in mind. Wonder if both SA clubs will move for Lycett at some point in time?

I'm pretty sure there's constant dialogue from Alberton to Lycett's management.
Ryder is 30, Naitanui is 28, there's a lead role up for grabs at home in the next couple of years, Scotty.

Jacobs is not 100% fit. Plenty of time for ROB, I reckon he will be ok. I think he is only 21 and ruckmen take ages to develop

For sure,
for sure ?
2017 -
Semi final - Dixon 23 touches, 7 marks, 4 tackles, 3 goals. That not standing up?
Prelim final - Jenkins 18 touches, 8 marks, 4 goals. That not standing up?
I think most people would see both those performances from a key forward as "standing up". Interested to hear what your thoughts on "standing up" are.
One game each? thats all your evidence?
