I remember fondly bones goal from the pocket. Being right behind him we had a great view. Was never going to miss. Loved that era of footy. Beating the big v was so satisfying.

We really need to value the time he's got. In a dark but timely reminder of how terrible this disease is San Francisco 49er legend wide receiver Dwight Clark (famous for the play known as "The Catch" in 1981 season NFC title against Dallas) lost his battle earlier this week. He was first diagnosed late 2015. Daniher was diagnosed 2013.

Gutting. A demon of a disease is MND. Hopefully this is the beginning towards researchers finding a cure.
Daniher's response to Robinson's question of "are you scared"? put everything into perspective for me.
Knowing what lies ahead, I can't fathom how that wouldn't scare the absolute shit out of you. I know we are all set for that very destiny, but watching your body lose it's function as your mind remains sound - I cannot fathom it.
Unfortunately, don't think Neale will be with us by next years game, he has gone downhill quite a bit over the last 12 months. One of the reasons I reckon the 18 AFL coaches have agreed to go down the slide, thinking he may not be here next year. Very sad, is an inspirational bloke, that's for sure!
Was thinking the same but as you say inspirational and its great to see that he still tries to live each day to the fullest. Was interesting to hear that a couple of coaches had also lost their fathers to this horrid disease, i had never really heard of it until a few years ago when Danihers fight was made public. Lets hope that sometime soon a cure is found
For the nerds out there It’s the same disease that Stephen hawking had
But yes I can’t think of a worse way to go, just slowly rotting away in your own body. But daniher is such an incredible man, and people won’t forget what he has helped create here
Who the Ef is this Sara Olle on the saturday stretch, taking tokenism to new levels. Had to switch off, her laugh is more annoying than Brad Johnson and Dermott combined

Anyone else been watching Nyoongar Footy Magic, NITV on Wednesday nights? Half-hour on an indigenous footy legend. Not sure how many episodes there's been, only seen the last two with Barry Cable and the Krakouer brothers. It's not solely V/AFL centric, with plenty of vision of how they grew up and WAFL highlights. I'm not sure if Nyoongar means it is only Western Australia players. Nicky Winmar this week.
