I applied in January for annual leave for December 27 2018 through to January 4 2019 and have followed it up a few times but then it just gets put on the backburner because we've too busy and it's ages away.
I checked out our annual leave roster and now have found out that those I needed to be available for me to take my leave have since booked their leave and been approved. I pretty much lost my shit at their incompetence and lack of urgency.

If you've got it in writing mate resend it with the date stamp to your boss, CC those around you who have taken the leave that is yours.

We do it via our bportal system, my boss knows hew's f****** up! He's all apologetic and stuff but I said "I don't want your apologies, I want it sorted as I will not be here on them days one way or another".
The problem lies with my back-ups are from different areas with different managers.
If you are in a right turn lane, and you don't enter the intersection when the light goes green, and then only turn when the light goes orange, meaning you're the only car that can get through, then you're an arsehole.
If i wasn't wearing a work shirt I would've thrown something at his car.
My new Mantra - I am no longer available to things and people that make me feel like shit

When you are the first of many car's waiting in a slip lane to move your car right into the traffic and the cars behind you move out first, you are in an order move in that order FFS!

Yep, it seems to go in reverse order, reminds me of footy training.
Having some work done in hospital and last night included first round of steroids so freakin starvin ... 3 times this morning they've delivered previous patients modified meal (which has F'all food and it's all crap). Serious hanger issues ... He's left the cutlery behind, almost like he's daring me to use it lol

This happens at light square coming from Weymouth Street. THe spuds at the front want to get in the far lane, so hold up masses of traffic, instead of keeping the traffic flowing and changing lanes when they can.
Shits me to tears.

What I've found to be a constant in a few decades on the road is that so many drivers just seem to lack adequate technique with slip lanes when it comes to watching oncoming traffic, gauging the gaps, adjusting speed, merging accordingly and keeping the traffic flowing.
Too many just slow down to a crawl (or worse, stop a fraction of the way into the lane) and deny cars behind them safe, smooth merging opportunities. I can think of a couple of slip lanes that consistently provide diamond studded examples, but I'm sure there are many others around Adelaide alone.

Just be thankful it isn’t cancelled completely. Was several last week and down at the airport now and it’s bedlam as there has been atleast one flight cancelled

Adelaide running about 15 minutes behind schedule ATM. Only 1 Jetstar flight definitely cancelled so far
