Go to pick the missus up yesterday and walk out the front to see a car getting worked on directly opposite my driveway, a mechanic's car in front of the driveway across the road, another car parked behind the broken down car and a car with a trailer parked halfway across my driveway with about 10 people standing around, we live on a narrow street and this is becoming the norm with this house.

I walk out, put my hands in the air and ask politely "What the f*** is going on here", a dude runs over and asks "Do you want me to move the trailer?"

"Na mate, I'll leap over the f***** thing", he moves it and I leave. I arrive back at the same time as my neighbour and everyone scatters about as he needed a couple of attempts to enter his driveway and I'm waiting behind him while he's doing it.

Then karma strikes me, my daughter dropped something off on her way to work this morning, we both go to leave and she's parked at the front of our house, the young lass across and adjacent to us is about to get in her car, I watch the daughter leave, see that I can get out before the chick across the road, check the opposite direction and begin to reverse only to go bang, a car had pulled up in the interim poking about 1.5m over my driveway in my blindspot and obscured by rose bushes, yes, I backed straight into it.

My street has been an excellent place to live until the last 3 months, got some disrespectful stem heads living across from us now, I think everyone has had enough of them.

Oh well, 3 more days and we're out of there, gonna miss the palace but we'll appreciate the difference in a month or two.
