How'd Ferg go on the weekend?
Just seen, he can't come in with just 7 next to his name.
Go unchanged, it's hard to be judged on that performance, we scored 82% of what our opposition did, we went at 10.1 runs per wicket against 12.25, it wasn't a great result by any means but next round is going to be a hell of a lot easier to bat.

Big Bash is the downfall of all cricket...
Mindset is, the better players can adjust to all forms, some players are tailor made for T20, others are made for the longer version, we need to pick players in the shield team that have patience.
Jake Winter has scored a trillion runs this season and seems to build an innings, where's his opportunity?

Winter just made 0 and 4 in Second X1 game in Perth at the moment so no chance. He cant play the short ball, the next level always finds him out, and any decent quick with pace will get him out. He needs a winter, pardon the pun, just working on that part of his game, as seems to have everything else.

Most others stagnated or gone backwards. Not really any young talent emerging that has shown anything at the next level yet. Very worrying.
Head's gone from a shield batsman to a test bat with an average over 50, I call that a fair improvement. Carey has also improved drastically.
Not sure on the Carey thing, I thought he was better last season.
Carey's best work still occurs between midnight and 4am.

His solution to those disputing parts of their contract is worth adopting.

Going to count Bradman too? None of those play Shield now so they wouldn’t help ATM and there is more to Christian leaving than we know

Over time it has weakened us with the departures.
We've been a rabble for some time now, if Klinger and Cosi to some degree were around for some extra time we could've built around them.
We apply far too much pressure on our inexperienced players, they need to perform from day dot because we are so shit.
