I look at it the other way, If I use a joker on a round that looks straight forward & I get 7/9, as do most others. I get 14, and those who didn't play the joker get 7. I've doubled up. But playing it in a dicey looking round & I get 5 winners, I only get 10 points. That's my logic anyway.

I use that logic too.
I’ve used my joker so far in an easy round and got 9 which turned into 19 with the bonus point.
