Yep... very sad.

Horrific scene by all reports. Thoughts with the girls family.

A car enthusiast who just kept upgrading, a real nice bloke by all reports, just shattering for all involved, it makes my stomach turn thinking about it, how on earth does fate make something like this happen.

My kids know them through the sporting clubs. Very nice family, such a tragedy.

Tragic for the girl and her family. Such an unnecessary loss.

The Lambo had the numberplate "PSYKO".
Not a good look.

Was it a pure accident? Hard to believe that you could be that unlucky to walk along a road like that and get hit by a stray car, shattering :(

It was a lamborghini, believe it or not, it was owned by an Elizabeth North man, it went out of control, who knows if he was messing about or driver error on such a powerful car, just tragic for everyone involved.

Stolen?

Stolen?

Nope. The owner rarely took it out.

It was mentioned on the news the car was worth $330k.
It’d be more than the average price of a house in Elizabeth.

He must love his cars.

CCTV footage has emerged of the car obeying the 60km/h speed limit moments before the crash.

If this turns out to be true then I feel the car has bottomed out over a manhole cover and he's lost control from there. Incredibly unlucky for the young lady being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Then that machine should not be on the road if they lose control just driving over a man hole cover

The car ended up hitting the restuarant which is well back from the road with a car park in front of it, had to see how it hits that if going at 60kph

At an uneducated guess, I'd say it like hydro-glided, without the water.

Yep hard to see how it ended up where it did if he wasn’t speeding.

A mate from work passed away, I find out today as colleagues are heading off to his funeral, pretty poor form that there was no email releasing details etc.

I'm in a bit of shock and really pissed off, he was a good bloke and taken way too young.

I feel like a heartless prick, we were pretty good mates and I'm not even there for his funeral.

Everyone will have their own outlook on funerals mate - Personally I always try to attend, but you don't need to be at a funeral to know how much you cared about someone or replay in your mind the memories of times shared with someone.

Sorry for your loss mate, don't beat yourself up for not being at the funeral, it doesn't change your relationship and feelings for him.

I attend those that I wish to pay my respect to, even if it's just the ceremony.

I just found it most rude that a colleague that sits a few metres away just upped and said to me "I'll be back in an hour two, I'm just heading to a funeral", then I found out who's it was, I'm livid and he'll find out about it when he returns.

We have 20 conversations a day easily, not once in the last week has he even mentioned Jim's passing or even his condition worsening resulting in him giving up and returning home to die.

There's a few of us here in disbelief.
