Re: I need to know....
Lennies was too far away for us notherners, we had the Villlage on Thursday and Friday nights, then the smae crowd would be at McMahons on the Saturday night, otherwise it was grab a granny at the Village.JK wrote:
Lennies and Joppies the two I reckon - If you couldn't pull a Truckin Toot from either of those places there wasn't much hope for ya
We'd venture into town after McMahons generally unless we skipped that step.
Remember the Bus Tours? They got hectic.

I used to frequent there quite a bit back in the day, great music. Re: I need to know....
Used to spend a fair bit of time at the Village on a Thursday night but our favourite place was Stix in Gouger Street.
When that closed/moved it was then Shotz on the corner of Pultney and Pirie...
Many a beer consumed and Jig danced while listening to 80s and 90s UK indie...

I need to know...how the chick who reads the traffic on the 5AA sports show managed to land a job on radio. Awful, nasally voice. Cant pronounce common Adelaide street names or suburbs, and rarely gets through a segment without screwing up. Friends in high places?
