Lennies was too far away for us notherners, we had the Villlage on Thursday and Friday nights, then the smae crowd would be at McMahons on the Saturday night, otherwise it was grab a granny at the Village.
We'd venture into town after McMahons generally unless we skipped that step.
Remember the Bus Tours? They got hectic.

Went to most of those, spent a lot of time at The Venue too, upstairs near the Crazy Horse from memory.

Had a mate behind the bar at Ambers, used to buy beers with a $20 note and he would give us change for a $50

The Proscenium.
I take it that you may have explored the place?
I used to frequent there quite a bit back in the day, great music. I remember seeing the guy who used to run it/owner perhaps in the paper a while back claiming he wrote the Da Vinci Code

Used to spend a fair bit of time at the Village on a Thursday night but our favourite place was Stix in Gouger Street. When that closed/moved it was then Shotz on the corner of Pultney and Pirie... Many a beer consumed and Jig danced while listening to 80s and 90s UK indie... Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

The old Village Tavern on a Thursday Night or more commonly known as Fight Night, many memories from back then, good, bad, funny, odd.

Shotz and Enigma Bar were always my favourite spots.

I need to know...how the chick who reads the traffic on the 5AA sports show managed to land a job on radio. Awful, nasally voice. Cant pronounce common Adelaide street names or suburbs, and rarely gets through a segment without screwing up. Friends in high places?
