They don't need an outright, but it would certainly help. If they beat SHOC and Reynella beat ROCS and Hope Valley beat Old Ignations, then Fulham will play finals. That scenario isn't inconceivable. Will be interesting to see if we get any contrived outrights across the grades. I'm surprised ATCA didn't schedule the final round as a one day game.

ROCS would will still get batting/bowling points if they lose so it'll be very close.
Fulham would have to make big runs and take 10 wickets to get in.
If ROCS make more than 200 and 10 fa in a loss Fulham may just miss.

That they did. A really good game of cricket with Tim Davey hitting the winning run with a ball to spare. A couple of outstanding individual performances got it done for the Rockets. Ingle Farm looked like posting 150+, but outstanding bowling by Wes Thomas with 5 for 14 saw the total restricted to 131. Then Tim Davey's 86 with 7 big 6's got them home. Congratulations to the Rockets.

Pooraka already with the Win and possible max points going to keep Grange very nervous in the field next week.

Grange should be more than nervous. Pooraka odds on favorite to claim 4th spot now.
Grange need to bowl Port Districts out first, defending 192 and PD 1/46 already, you would suggest that's enough of a task.

Even if Grange do that, then they need to hope Pooraka don't make a score. 258 gets them infront on first innings points (assuming both teams win). Currently 2/149, with Bailey and Hanson at the crease, you'd say another 109 runs shouldn't be an issue.

So then it comes down to second innings bonus points, and Pooraka will have the advantage there, as they'll likely make the 109 runs needed quicker than Grange will take their remaining 9 wickets. Even if Pooraka fail to get the 109 runs, they'll enter the second innings much early than Grange, giving more time to pick up second innings wickets than Grange will have to make quick runs.

For mine, Grange's best bet of holding off Pooraka from here is an outright, and it's bloody hard to take 19 wickets in a day.

Ingle Farm didn't ring the scores through in their game against Marion, however I heard Marion made a very generous declaration.
So you'd assume semi finals are locked in.

Ingle Farm vs Pooraka
PAOC vs SPOC

Marion 8 dec for 165 and Ingle Farm 2 for 24. Not really that generous a declaration.

Cheers.
Declaring at 165 is probably why it got reported as generous, but once you see they were 8 fa, it makes a little more sense.

Fair chance both teams would have an eye out for 2nd innings points.
Reynella looking to get home final if win and ROCS trying to stay in 4.
