Hudson, call by call Brayshaw is pretty good, Whateley, Bennett I think it is, Jason Bennett? He's ok.
Pretty much anyone who isn't an ex player, broadcasters who just call the game.

When he’s not calling the NRL, A League or NBL, Brenton Speed is arguably the best.
I rate Brayshaw, Huddo & Whateley too.

The callers with a history in radio are typically the best as they're trained to be more descriptive.

But FWIW can't believe if people don't like BT they like Brayshaw. Brayshaw is television-through-the-window horrid.

Damn straight it's a suey, did one off the Largs jetty one night after a big day at the Pier, opened up too early and flopped it big time. Felt like Rick Disnick.

I think they quality is substantially worse with them commentating off the tv as opposed to live. BT called a goal based on the tv not showing the goals .... it went out or bounds. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No one should ever be fined for staging again in that case

Agree Jim. Papley the worse one this year, but that Grimes one not far behind.
Have to agree with Matthew Lloyd though, they pick and choose who they charge for staging.
The examples he showed last week of Boyd Woodcock and Izaak Rankine were worse but nothing gets said.
They need to fine twenty players a week so they all stop it!!

Surely the umps are smart enough to sort stagers out. Players get a reputation for playing for free kicks, umpires spread the word and they umpire those players accordingly .... i.e. they get nothing.
