Listening to Nicksy on SEN this morning, Balme is a lock. If true a very good get.

He’s the reason why Burns is at the Crows.

Might not have a choice
Personally I think he'll stay also

The more you hear, the more I think he’s gone.

They are seeing what is offered first then will match if not a ridiculous amount

Why offer $750k to keep him if the highest amount offered to him is $600k. Can do that with restricted free agents

They might do a deal with Geelong like they did with Dangerfield.

By the sounds of it he'd rather not go, I think he'll end up at the Suns.

Crows taking another big risk by letting another star go in his prime, sure if they get #2 pick for him and then nail the pick then it will be OK, but what happens in #2 is a dud? How will the faithful look upon this decision?

He has also said he wants to stay in Adelaide.

Fascinating to see how this plays out.

It doesn't seem as though you'd even have to sub-divide it, I reckon he'd take a significant cut to stay, I'd be more inclined to keep him unless you can get a 50+ game power forward in exchange.

Played 16 games in 2016 ( missed 2 lots of 3 with hamstring ), played 20 games in 2017 ( missed 3 with his foot ), missed all of 2018 with his foot, played 22 last year and 12 of 17 this year. His injury concerns are his foot and hamstring.

Now his foot is right and you break it down, he's missed 11 games in 5 years. His body is as right as most.

I don't think they're worried about the money, he wants 4 years and they're not prepared to give him that length and I cannot work out why.

In a rebuild, best and fairest winner, 26, doesn't want to leave, they've got pick 1,8,20,30,44,48 and 60 soo they've got loads of points if they want to match a F/Son bid, they've got 3 in the top 20 ( two top 10 ) and may pick up more before now and then.

If they truly want pick 2 bad enough they must have their eyes on two they really, really want.

Is he in your best/most important 3 players?

If so wouldn’t he be worth $800 a year?

Top 3 at any club would be on this.
