Has wheels for a big bloke. Rarely out marked from the games I've seen.
Decision making however, not great at times.

Yeah reckon that’s fairly accurate. Hawks have lost Frawley and Sicily (for most of the season) haven’t they? In which case they look pretty light on for tall defenders

Add him to the list of list cloggers who are now rated as good players the instant they choose to leave AFC

All you can do is ask the question.
Shows how much we rate him and most importantly how high Port does.

Interesting how the Crows approach the rebuild.

Not by choice it looks like they are going to have to go down the 'total' youth path with a few more leaving through free agency.

Will be interesting to see if they look to trade in some more experience types to compliment the draft picks. Personally I think there is too much historic evidence to show the dangers of trying to solely rely on high draft picks with no mature A grade support around them.

Will also be interesting to see how the Crows fans react to a sustained period in the bottom half of the table which they have never really experienced a lot.

Adelaide don't have many of them in their list right now. First round picks :

2019 - McAsey
2018 - Jones, McHenry
2017 - Fogarty
2016 - Gallucci
2015 - Milera, Doedee

Of these you can call Milera and Doedee a success, the others are either work in progress ( McAsey, Fogarty ) or on the border line over the next 12 months ( Jones, McHenry ) or on their last chance ( Gallucci ).

They are going to have to get some seriously good football from their established players and hope like hell that some of the additions ( Keays, McAdam, Frampton ) really stand up and develop. If not, long road ahead. Really long road.

What you can now be sure of is the likes of Mackay and Walker will be going around again, regardless of list sizes. They have too.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

I agree that we need to bring in some guys with 6-7 years experience, so looking at blokes who are 25-28 years old. Bringing in Hatley is a positive, high draft pick but still inexperienced. With Crouch heading to Saints could we look at seeing if someone like Dunstan will move. SA lad, he may struggle to play consistent footy in the Saints midfield with Crouch coming in. In the end, these guys will have to want to come here.

Young Giant, Jye Caldwell has nominated Essendon. Was pick 11 in the 2018 draft and the pick came from Essendon in the Shiel trade

So he's been there a full 2 years and has got the guts to nominate his preferred destination. Interesting.

I think it was the Saints or us but he wanted more midfield time and with the a Saints getting Crouch it probably made the decision easier along with the bigger contract we were offering.
We need to keep targeting kids in the next few trade and draft periods and hopefully things turn around in a few years

Would be a good get for the Bombers. They need explosive mids.

Out of contract so I guess he can name his destination club. Doesn’t mean he will get there

I understand how it works fellas. ;)

Just think he's being a bit cheeky and GWS should wish him well at Adelaide in the preseason draft.

Why would they want to lose him for nothing when they can extract a top 20 pick out of us for him?
