You mean taking a 32 year old who has won flags and isn't as hungry for success as he once was is a bad idea? [emoji38]
I mean just taking a 32yr old

I tell you one thing, if Geelong can maintain top 4-6 finishes in the next 2-3 years they've completely beaten the AFL's equalization system, if they haven't already done so in the last 5-8 years.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

They will, they won't bottom out.
But they are in greyhound terms Non Chasers or even in racing parlance, they are the Tom Melbourne....albeit he had a better record of finishing 2nd....

Always thereabouts but are never truly a threat. I just wish Port won the Prelim final though...we would have won that.

They only matched for Cameron to force a trade. Both Cameron and the Giants have no inclination to mend their bridges. He ain’t going back

According to Sam Edmund the core players at Collingwood do not want Treloar back and went to the club and told them that

"Last week Nathan Buckley had a phone conversation with Adam Treloar. He told him that the senior core of the group didn't want him around anymore. I would find it staggering (if the players wanted him out), he is very popular in that group"

Nathan Buckley’s reply

“ “Absolute fact”...news to me Sam.

The constant rumour and innuendo is disrespectful to Adam, the club and our supporters.

We’ll continue to communicate directly and sensitively with Adz and his management.

FYI, our leaders don’t sit on list management, it’s not their job.”

Treloar's deal over the next 3 years is over $1m pa, add Grundy's $1m pa and there has been some severe negligence in their list management.

Unless you are a A+ Elite player then any deal greater than 3 years hardly ever works for the club.

Grundy deal is going to bite them hard. 100%.
