Only saw about a minute of the game, but the young lad from North running into an open goal should have seen the Roosters in front at 1/4 time (granted South with 6 behinds could prob argue similarly).

Another loss for the chooks, not a good start to the season

Re: R2 North v South Saturday 1410
Another close loss and despite the strong wing dying for 10 minutes of the last quarter the best side definately won.
North in real danger of going 0/4 playing Norwood and the Eagles away in the next two rounds.

Similar to us last season, lose both of the first 2 games by less than a goal combined and were as good as done. Mind you this North list is better and there's more games this season, you'll win next week (unfortunately).

Full class by South Adelaide today after their win, they put their celebrations on hold and made a guard of honour for Allmond off the ground after his 200th.
Very classy.

Hey @Doc
Is the 2016 Glenelg FC U/18 Oremiership Captain (Jake McCreery) injured?
@
Or has he gone back to community footy despite winning a Ressies award last year at South?
Like his brother a good lad.

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Very happy to be wrong with my prediction. This was a very hard fought game with lots of niggle and North seemed to be targeting Jason Horne all game. A good all round team effort.

South got up in the 16's and league.
With no game for the women we will have to call it a draw.

... unless you adopt the Stanley H. Lewis scoring scheme, in which case South had a narrow win.

Re: R2 North v South Saturday 1410
A character building win for the South boys.
North came out with the usual intimidation tactics on Horne (17 years old), Cross and Skinner. They were quite focused on this from the start.
First quarter we are poor and did not use the wind to our advantage.
Third quarter we got our game on and played some great footy.
Broadbent great down back in the last quarter - calm, cool and collected.
Haines, Broadbent, Summerton, Biemans, Haren, Cross, Gibbs and Caliotto my best.
I also felt we were much more fitter than North who seemed to be quite "puffed"out with their running game in the last quarter.
Prospect always great to win out there.
Enjoyed Died Pretty's "Sweetheart" being played on the P.A a highlight too.
So far, so good......2/2

Good to see Knoll racking up those mountainous stats on a weekly basis...When is the mid season draft again...?

He would be odds on favourite to be picked up by Gold Coast in mid season draft. They don’t have any ruckman and he would be the leading option around the country.
