Females don't become fertile until 5-6 years of age and around 55-58cm. So females under 60cm should not be taken.
Males mature around 2-3 years of age and around 23-28cm. So only males over ( I'd say ) 40cm should be taken.
Up until they both reach that size they are part of the breeding stock.
Bag limit 1 per boat per day. Males 40cm+ and females 60cm+.
