A1
Goodwood v Grange (Goodwood Oval - 12:30pm)
Marion v Para Hills (Marion Oval #1 - 12:30pm)
A2
Flinders Park v Walkerville (Flinders Park #1 - 12:30pm)
Old Scotch v Gepps Cross (Scotch College Ovals #2 - 12:30pm)
A3
Goodwood v Ingle Farm (Cabra Oval East - 12:30pm)
Brahma Lodge v Golden Grove (Brahma Lodge Oval - 12:30pm)
Goodwood are the best allround side in A1 i think they get past Grange. if you can keep Clark and Fry quiet you will hit alot of runs.
Marion will just get over Para Hills i think- warrick to make 80 and take 3
FP have been best all year but if dalton is playing for Walkerville he could be the game changer
old scotch should win
Goodwood again been the best side all year- Ingle farm will rely on Sandry to rip through them. Goodwood to win
Brahma playing their first final is 2012 (first year in ATCA) they touched up golden grove a couple of weeks back but Groves side on paper takes on most finals teams in all grade. I am thinking Grove are too strong here but would like to see Brahma win.

Re: ATCA
Interesting to see Fulham relegated to A3... some quality players, but probably left to to few to perform week in, week out. Same with Modbury, they had some quality players but not enough to keep them up.
ROCCCS escape relegation again... no standout player by the looks by from reports a tight knit group that never say die and recorded probably some un-expected wins. Looks like a reasonably young team and could be big improvers next season.

Re: ATCA
A1 semi finals are very even. Carey is a massive loss for Para Hills - hope he is recovering well. Marion's batting is very fragile at times and I think Wordsworth, Quinn and Blackledge will make enough runs for Para Hills to win. I notice Max Parker not named for Goodwood .... thats a loss. I still expect them to sneak home against Grange, who were lucky to make finals.
In A3 there is a lot of pressure on Golden Grove. A loss will mean another year in A3 which would be a waste.

Re: ATCA
Looking forward to getting to Goodwood for a chance at a flag, As a club to have 7 different names from last years grand final side and still manage to fight through to it, we are pretty proud and pumped for the oppurtunity.
Cheers to Marion for a game played in good spirit and the wicket they provided for 2 days which was exceptional.
good luck to all the other teams

Well done to our LO7's for making the Granny. Goodwood bowling too strong for us in LO3 on Saturday. As 'No Remorse' said, good luck to all teams. Cheers

Re: ATCA
Medal night who is your tip?
Sean Williams is my call good year with 4th in the bowling and 301 runs. Sayers will have too many votes taken off him from Clark and Fry.
either will win the all rounder of the year.
TOTY will be tough

Re: ATCA
Good luck to all teams in their Grand Finals tomorrow.
A1 is an intriguing contest, but I think Goodwood might be a slightly better balanced team, but it wouldn't surprise me if Para Hills got up. Both these teams have changed dramatically from last year. Para Hills have lost seven quality players, so their effort to make the GF is incredible. Goodwood, on the other hand, have recruited about seven very solid cricketers this season which is why they ended up minor premiers in A1, A3 and B1. Maybe the home ground advantage swings it Goodwood's way.
A2 is a big game with winner also securing promotion to A1. Scotch dodged a bullet in the semi when they defended 92 against Gepps Cross, but I don't think their bats will fail again, so I'm tipping OSCA to get the chocolates.
Of the three A grade grand finals, A3 appears the most lop sided with a very talented Golden Grove side up against Ingle Farm's B grade. However, all the pressure is on Golden Grove. A loss would also mean another year in A3 .... what a waste. I'm expecting Golden Grove to win, but pressure does strange things at times.

******* disgraceful decision, the **** bowler should have been reported.
Did the batter have to swing at it? No, he did not. Was there any chance of a runout? No.

Not sure we saw the same. Batter hits it straight back to bowler. Bowler fields the ball and throws it at the stumps. Batter hits the ball away while out of his crease. Given out for obstructing the field. Correct decision.

Watching the replay, looks like he was out of his crease, so seems the decision was correct and justified

Looked to me like he was in his crease, just. Hard to tell on the footage

Batter takes a step back after hitting the ball, suggests to me he was out of his crease

Thanks for that. Was a great game of cricket for 2 days. Plenty of heat in at times but that's the way finals are supposed to be. Credit to the Ingle Farm supporters who came out in droves and used the bar and BBQ facilities that were available.
I know there will be a few sore heads on some of the boys this morning.
Hope everyone enjoys the winter!
