Anyone on here have security cameras at home?
If so what brand or what do people recommend?
I’m looking at the eufy brand but not sure what model yet.
I have a video doorbell currently but it’s an older model and it can’t integrate cameras with its current software app.

I’m looking at wireless cameras for DIY but most of the better ones have 6 month battery life anyway.
I’m after local storage not cloud based.

Anyone recommend a good option here?

we just have EUFY
can get it from bunnings
you have the ability to add cameras.

we have a doorbell, front camera and a back camera.

from memory around $350

you have the ability to answer the doorbell through it and also look at the cameras via your phone and the ability to speak through them if necessary

possibly better ones out there, but this has done the job thus far. when the battery gets low its just simply a matter of recharging them.

Sounds like you have the eufy 2 or 2c.
That’s the entry level but it does appear to do what I need as well.
No face recognition or adding external storage but that’s not a huge issue for me.

just checked and yes its the 2c

you get notifications regarding movement etc, and can adjust those accordingly so you arent bombarded with those notifications etc
