By the umpire that use to play there.
Central United throwing punches behind play
I always thought that there was a rule that an umpire can't make comment about a reportable offence. The Units can't use it as a defence, as it would most probably then be heard as an investigation, but the umpire needs to be sanctioned.

Are you defending a clear strike to the face
Where have I ever tried to defend the player? Both the player and the club must know that the player has done wrong (as you say a clear strike) as they accepted the offer. My comment was about the umpire and his so called professionalism.

Game was Umpired well I think its wrong to question an Umpires professionalism because of actions of players

Should never let a umpire the game when he played at that club.

Many factors in to why clubs don’t challenge the league at tribunal. Cost, volunteer fatigue and the risk of getting more games for trying to give your side of the story

Do agree with Demon Duke that explayers should never umpire their previous clubs. My thoughts on the standard of umpiring will not be mentioned, but I am glad your are arms are long enough to pat yourself on the back.
I am questioning the umpire's professionalism for making comments about a report after the game and before any outcome has been achieved. There are rules governing this and the umpire has breached them.
Given the number of people who play each weekend and crackdowns on things like dangerous tackles an extraordinary result for the league to keep a clean sheet over an entire weekend.

There was a couple of unannounced investigations, but you sentiment is absolutely correct
If you take off dangerous tackles, which in the past probably wouldn’t be all reported, the low number of reports is very good

Great result for the league....well done
They've done a great job in recent years.....some may whinge about the game getting soft but imo the league has done by far whats best for the genuine guys who want to go out and 'play' football each week.

Not just the league as it is, but the Clubs and players. Ultimately clubs and players seem to be largely embracing this mindset rather than having it imposed on them against their will. For everyone's benefit
