You are paying the cleaners come in to do the cleaning. (Vacuum, mop & bucket, scrub toilets, etc).

You don't want to pay them to tidy first.

That means pack your sh!t up, no clothes lying around, no toys left out, etc, so when she arrives, she can get straight into the cleaning.

Tidy up yes, clean no.

You have her in to clean, but clean before she cleans so she's not there for as long? Do you have her for a minimum time, 2,3 4 hours?

If she cleans better than you doing jobs you don't like doing then surely you just let her do them?

Yeah, I try to keep it to 2-3 hours, I’m generally tidy as it is but my son and his girlfriend not so much.

Yeah, I get her to do the jobs I don’t like doing, I don’t want her there to be hanging out washing, doing dishes, picking up clothes etc.

No matter how good I think I am at cleaning up I know the woman’s touch is so much better, walking in to a fresh smelling shiny house each fortnight is blissful and inspires me to keep it maintained.

My only times to do a thorough clean is Sunday mornings, sometimes I can’t be arsed doing anything at that time, depending on what I did the night before, I’m time poor throughout the week

Nail hit on head, she does a great job and not too costly, it’s worth it if she isn’t having to do stuff we should be doing daily.

Last time my son and his GF did a late night cook up and left the dishes for her, that pissed me off

How do you pinch 8 pokies and, more so, what are you going to do with them?

Eight pokie machines have been stolen from a small country town pub as police hunt for suspects.

The gambling machines were taken from a licenced premises on Old Port Wakefield Rd Dublin, sometime between 6pm Friday, February 23 and 11.30am Saturday, February 24.

Police believe suspects were at the location for an amount of time and used a sack truck to move the machines and damaged a sliding door.

I’m pretty sure the pub is currently closed down.

Does anyone bother cleaning their solar panels?
If so, how?
Hose and detergent?

Paint extension pole with a brush taped to it and a bucket of midly soapy water.

Do you find it makes much difference to the feed in you get?
This summer I seem to be getting about 20-30% less so thinking they may need cleaning

Unless they're covered In bird shit, don't bother. I've never cleaned mine in 13 years and generation has been consistent throughout.

What he said.

Was for my parents joint who live near the beach so plenty of sloppy bird shit on the panels. Haven't done it for over 10 years.

I was told not to use detergents or soaps, they can leave a film / residue on the panels and reduce effectiveness. Hose off was the advice or, if covered in shit an outdoor glass cleaner.

When does Daylight savings finish? I'm worried I'm wearing out my headlight globes driving to work in the morning.
