That’s what happens when you have lawyers running the show.

Very good point.
Dillon and Kane are both lawyers aren't they?

God help us. The game will be unrecognizable in 5 years.

That Bedford one is a disgrace.
Cameron's is a tricky one. If it's not punished but allowed, then it will be used as a way for players to deliberately hurt each other on the edge of the rules. BUt how come we can see incidents like that in rugby league and it not lead to concussions?

Perhaps the AFL should look at itself and stop trying to make every ground look as pretty as it can and play as quick as it can all for television and make the grounds a little softer and slower.

Bedford should be 0
Torn on the Cameron one, can see how it has been classed.

The issue is the Rosas one, that should have the biggest suspension of the lot but just because he makes minimal impact it get's classed as it has. Need to fix the guidelines again. Should have an 'attempted' classification

Remember when there were no guidelines and a panel reviewed it and made up a suspension based on feel?

Bedford one is a disgrace, that was absolutely the outcome and not the action judgement.

Cameron one I can't work out, he didn't do anything to aid the fall of Duggan so probably neglected duty of care. He is a good bloke though.

Davies on Jones was really dangerous and had to be 3 or more.

The Rosas one is pathetic, his intentional action had the ability to cause serious injury and how he got away with 1 I don't know.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

So 5 major incidents and by my count they only got 1 of the 5 right.

Bedford way too many.
Cameron I can't follow.
Davies about right.
Rosas too light.
Stewart not even mentioned!
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!

Can the AFL themselves appeal this one?

Davies has appealed his three games - the tribunal should up to 5 games for wasting their time

They can but about zero chance of it happening imo.

Yep that would make a difference. But they won't because the grounds will get churned up and way too much to maintain.
By Sundays game the G would look terrible.
For mine screw the expense and make the grounds softer.

I still reckon some players flop a lot of the time and the head hits the deck trying to draw the free.
Or are the forces involved that much more from when I played in the 80's.

I'd say a bunch of professional athletes that are bigger, faster and stronger than part time athletes from 40 years ago would hit harder, yes

Definitely fitter as a whole yes but not necessarily bigger, stronger and quicker.
The best blokes were big, strong and quick back then too and hit the contest with way more violence than the blokes now.

High performance people should have them doing neck weights just like f1 guys do so they can keep they're head from hitting the deck most times....if they want to and aren't just trying to milk a free.

You put a Gary Ablett snr up against say Dangerfield.
Apart from aerobically there wouldn't be much in it.

That's comparing a key forward and a midfielder, and Danger is by no means the biggest midfielder of his era, Players are definitely bigger, stronger & faster than in the 80's.

Field position doesn't matter, I was comparing them physically. Similar height and weight
Danger definitely fitter but not necessarily stronger or faster.
I just can't ever remember so many heads hitting the ground and getting concussion.

Games cooked because Cameron got off, but according to you Heeney deserved a game
