AFL won’t schedule more Thursday night games but we’ll have overlapping matches on Friday night, Sunday arvo & 2 games at the same time Saturday night - real clever. And how the f#ck do West Coast get a Friday night game???

AFL Club Membership breaks all-time record
AFL CEO Andrew Dillon has today announced a new all-time AFL Club membership record of 1,268,403 * members (year to date).
The 1,268,403 number surpasses the record of 1,198,833 that was set in 2023. An increase of 6%.
One in 22 Australians is a member of an AFL club.

So Carlton is sent a please explain for the handling of McKay on field, he misses the next game against Port with "illness", the AFL investigation then finds nothing to see here.

The AFL media machine is something else.

After round 7 Brisbane were 2 wins 5 losses, 13th on the ladder. Hawthorn were 1 & 6, in 17th. :shock:

The best "big game" player to have played IMO.

I've admired the humble way that he has gone about it, obviously erred a little along the way but it's about being the individual he is.

Will go down as one of my favourites to grace the field.
